Robert Demere opened the first Enmarket in 1964 in Savannah, Georgia, and it was known as “Interstate Stations.” As the business grew, Interstate Stations built a reputation for outstanding customer service and competitive prices at locations throughout the Southeast.
In 1990, the company name changed to “Enmark Stations, Inc.” as part of a rebranding campaign. The company added more convenience stores and car washes throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
We formally rebranded as “Enmarket” in 2015 to better reflect our diverse offerings of fresh food, product, and healthy snacks.
Enmarket is a third-generation, family-owned business owned by Robert H. Demere, Jr., as a subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc.
