Savannah-based Enmarket has acquired the former Zip-In Foods near Fort McAllister State Park, the company announced this week.
The store, which is located at 15163 Georgia Highway 144, is the 125th Enmarket location overall and its second in Bryan County.
“Our customers have been asking us to add an additional Richmond Hill location to serve this side of the county,” said Brett Giesick, president of Enmarket.
“This acquisition makes it possible for us to expand in that market very quickly. The site will receive a significant remodel in 2020 so that we can integrate all of our programs into the store.”
Giesick described the new location as a strategic one for Enmarket and noted that the remodeled location will retain the company’s popular food service operation.
